"Event branding that builds on the ekolive brand and evolves it for the moment."Design direction — ekolive, 2026
ekolive is a European biostimulant technology partner with active field trials in Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria — and a growing portfolio of government and institutional partners. Their formulations are EU-regulated, field-proven, and adapted to each country's crops and climate. The proposal covers a brand evolution and an event landing page for an audience of ministers, agricultural attachés, and policy directors.
The task was not a rebrand. ekolive's core identity — the deep forest green, the lime accent, the mark itself — was strong and worth keeping. The goal was to evolve it: sharpen the visual language, lift the institutional credibility, and build a page that speaks to the right room. Everything built on what was already there.
The ekolive mark is the primary brand anchor, carried across all touchpoints. Two product marks — ekofertile® and microfertile® — sit beneath it as part of the same identity system. Each is distinct in character but unmistakably part of the same family.

Green carries the brand; lime is the signal. ekolive's existing colours were the starting point, not the problem. Token values were refined, contrast ratios fixed for institutional legibility, and the cream base shifted to a slightly cooler tone that reads better on screen. Lime is used sparingly — one focal point per page.
Fraunces is a variable serif with strong optical presence at large sizes — authoritative without being cold, editorial without being decorative. Tight tracking and line height 1.0–1.1 give headlines the gravity expected in a policy context. Inter handles everything functional: labels, data, navigation, body copy. Light for lead paragraphs, semibold to bold for UI. Office fallback: Georgia and Arial.

A modular platform. Tailored products. Built for the conditions your farmers actually face — not laboratory ideals.
Calm, precise, and evidence-first. The ekolive voice explains before it categorises, proves before it promises, and positions the company as a long-term partner — not a product seller. Every claim is tied to a trial, a country, and a partner. Investor and return language is always avoided.
01
Plain before technical
Explain what biostimulants do before naming the category. Regulation codes support a claim — they never lead it.
"Natural substances that help crops produce more and resist drought."
02
Proof over promise
Every claim is tied to a trial, a country, and a partner. Show the number, then the conditions behind it.
"48% yield increase in semi-arid Kenya, with Tulip Agriconsult."
03
Partner, not vendor
We adapt to each country and stay through scaling. Your country, with you, we adapt.
"Every country is different. We adapt."
Credibility is backed by certification: EU Regulation 2019/1009 · CEN/TS 17700-1 to 5 · CE via CerTrust NB 2806 · EIT Food partner · SDG 2 & 13. Referenced as supporting evidence — never as the lead claim.
Show the product where it is used — in the field, beside the crop, at harvest. Not on a studio backdrop. Product photography for ekofertile® and microfertile® follows the same rule: the canister appears in the context of the farming environment it was built for. Natural daylight, honest colour. People working, not posing.
Do
Avoid
The ekolive logo, product marks, EU regulation badge, and EIT Food certification are placed alongside photography and data to reinforce institutional credibility — not as decoration, but as proof that the company operates at European regulatory standards.
All illustration uses a flat vector style — clean shapes, no gradients, no shadows, no textures. Light backgrounds only. Inactive areas recede with a thin, low-contrast green outline; active regions are filled in brand lime. The palette is the same as the brand: white, cream, forest green, lime. Nothing decorative, nothing that competes with photography or data.
The event landing page is the centrepiece — but the proposal covers a broader set of materials for the Hand-in-Hand Investment Forum 2026 in Rome. All materials follow the same visual language: dark green, lime accents, Fraunces headlines, Inter body, flat vector maps, and field photography.
Billboard / OOH poster
One-pager / Event flyer
Additional formats (brochure, presentation deck) to be added on project approval.
The landing page covers twelve sections — from a full-screen hero through field results, a government impact table, and three partnership models. An interactive world map lets visitors explore country-level project data. The page is designed to be handed to a minister and left to speak for itself.
